Tuition reimbursement pgm - HCR Manor Care?Rating: (votes: 0) Hey...have you heard or done this...Im thinking of this route too Comment: We have the same program here, it's called "earn as you learn", but we require our participants to work 20 hours a week (but they get paid for working 40 hours) and they get 100% of their education paid for. Usually things that are too good to be true, usually aren't true. So make sure you get your facts before signing up and make sure this is a facility that you're willing to committ to for two years.Committment isn't a bad thing and it's a quite common program. When I went RN to BSN I committed a year to get tuition reimbursement and that time is almost up. Then I went loan forgiveness from the State of FL and have to work a year at this facility. I love working here and would be here anyway.I say that if you like the facility and think you can make it two years, then absolutely go for it. Someone else is going to snatch it up if you don't.Comment: Thank you TWEETY for your reply.I have checked out the website and read the fine print over and over. I am going to give them a call today and get more facts...because as you said you can't pass it up. Sounds like you did great with your scholars to pursue your career. Thnks again for your reply.Have a great day,LisaComment: You're welcome! Best of luck to you.Comment: Which Manor Care, if you don't mind me asking? I've heard not so good things about the Manor Care located in my area...Comment: Hi Lexxie...I am located in Newton County, Indiana. So Im thinking they wont go too far away from me.
