contemplating LPN as a career

i have been doing tons of research on schools for lpn & what kind of job im looking at when im done. i currently have an esthetics (skin care therapist) license & my goal is to work in a dermatologists or plastic surgeons office working days, off weekends & making more than $13/hr. (i make $13/hr now as a receptionist w/ free health insurance.) is this an unrealistic goal? any good schools near washington,dc would help as well. any advice would be great. thank you.
