Change From Nutrition to Nursing.Rating: (votes: 0) I am in the same situation with you, except I am almost done with nursing. I have a BS in general dietetics, and I am working as a nutritionist consultant. I am planning to combine the degrees and work for the community as an educator. I love nursing so much more though. Good luck to you. Comment: Of course it's not too late! :smackingfI would suggest going to the local college you plan on attending and find out more info about what they require. Start taking your pre-reqs in the Spring and go from there. Start slow and ease into it with one class and see how you feel about it.Good Luck!Comment: I agree that you need to talk to your local college. Becoming a nurse can take up to three to four years these days, longer if there is a waiting list. You need to also listen to how you talk to yourself "I'm too old, I'm a poor test taker, I'm afriad of needles".....this kind of stuff dooms you from the start. Granted, it's important to know your strengths and weaknesses but be careful of the conversations you have with yourself.Check this out: http://allnurses.com/forums/f200/any...fe-125963.htmlComment: Quote from TweetyI agree that you need to talk to your local college.
