Nursing opportunities USA or Oz

Hi, I am a Registered general nurse from scotland and currently studying a degree in learning disability nursing. I know every country welcomes general trained nurses but can anyone tell me if learning disability nursing is recognised and welcomed for foreign nurses? I do know some countries do not I just don't know what ones. Any help much appreciated.

The USA definitely requires you to be a generalist trained nurse so a lot will depend on what your transcripts say.
