Where can I find nursing education

Hey guys-
Im from the Kansas City area and am looking for continuing education seminars, classes etc. I really want more of the seminar format instead of online courses, where you have to go, sit in the chair, receive hand outs and really pay attention. Problem is that I am having a hard time finding this type of classes- I've tried MONA, my state board of nursing, and other various MO nursing organizations. Anyone know of a website that has continuing education courses like this listed?

Have you tried the nursing organizations related to your specialty? Also, Cross Country Education is a private firm that offers seminars on lots of nursing topics all over the country, and I'm sure there are others, too, that I'm not thinking of at the moment. Check with your local hospitals. Many of them offer monthly seminars, just call the education office and ask if they have a mailing list or check their websites.
