I am just shy of having 2yrs expreince under my belt in a Level III ED. I knew I wanted to travel since deciding to become a nurse and now the time is coming to make that move. I need help on figuring out which agency? What questions to ask? What are some of the pit falls of travel nursing? At this point I am as excited and wide eyed about traveling as I was to graduate and be a nurse. I had all of these great ideas about being an ED RN, and most have been accurate, but I have definetly had my fair share of wake up calls too. I just want to get as much information and be as prepared as possible for this transition in my career......PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
With the current job market, this is not the time to start travel nursing.... Most good places not using travel staff . Please be aware that if a company begs you to take a position, be most warry as likely stessful or dysfunctional unit.
