Exploring the nursing career. Tell me about your job!

I'm at a cross-roads. I'm a PCA (not even a CNA, but asked to do CNA work) and work in an AL home (that has skilled residents) and considering going for my ADN. Thing is, I'm not sure this is the right decision for me.

Tell me, what are the best things about your job? The worst? Do you regret nursing as a career? If you knew then what you knew now would you have gone into this profession? I know that everyone has those days where you wonder just what you were thinking by doing this job, but overall how do you like it?
