New Grad Job Hunt

Hello everyone! I am a recent graduate from a second degree accelerated nursing program where I received my BSN. I have my current CPR certification and RN license for DC. I have currently been applying to every single position I qualify for and so far have had no luck. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on any other places to look?

I live in the DC Metro area and have applied to every hospital in the area. My responses for the hospitals, however, were that they already hired for the summer and will be interviewing again in the fall with a February start date. I really was hoping to start sooner than that, as my savings is running out and I need some sort of income. I prefer to work in pediatrics but do not care whether it is a school setting, research, home care, outpatient, physician office etc. I basically just want a job in pediatrics where I can start prior to next Feb!!!

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do/where to look? Am I at the point where I just need to get a temporary job and then apply for a February start date? Or is there hope of starting before then? Help Please!
