To tell or not-leaving a new grad program for another

You will have to list the position. If you don't, it is the same as lying on an employment application - and would be grounds for termination at your new job. Comprehensive background checks on all new hires are required by Federal law. During this process, any job you had will show up if the employer deducted FICA. My advice - don't take any actions that would reflect negatively on you. It is very expensive to bring new grads into the workforce. Potential employers would tend to view your hasty exit as an indication of a poor work ethic.
