hello all!

hope everyone is enjoying their holidays ( and time off from school ). i am going into my third year of my bsn program and am wanting to become a plastic surgery nurse. i have heard that they also become certified-cpsn. the baffling part is how to make this happen. i have searched for schools and some sort of specific training, but still have no answers. does anyone out there is the allnurses world have a clue? any information would be invaluable.

thanks a bunch!
Most of your certifications require that you work in that particular field for at least 2 years to become eligible to take the exam. Try this link and you should be able to find a path to certification.https://www.aspsn.org/component/page...,197/vmcchk,1/

I am a nursing student and a licensed esthetician interested in working in the field of plastic surgery. I found the aspsn website very helpful - and it was awesome to discover how many nurses are interested in the same field.
