Nursing School & Babies?!

I'm thinking of starting nursing school full time next fall (Fall 2012) as a second career doing a 2nd BSN program. My husband and I are both in our mid 20s and want to have kids soon. Does anyone have experience with doing a full time nursing program and having kids (we were thinking we would try to do it so that I have baby 1 during the summer break inbetween the two years). I'm currently working full time and in night school, so I don't think it would be too difficult for me, but I've never had kids! I don't know Any advice or experience would be much appreciated.

I am currently going to nursing school and have two children(2 and 4). I am also in my mid-20s so I thought that I would be able to do it all right? Wrong. I personally suggest waiting to have children until you are done with school or having them and then starting school. The time and stress that comes from school is exasperated by a child wanting to sit on your lap while you are trying studying. I am not going to say it is impossible, anything is possible. There are some things that can wait while you are studying for that med surg test but a hungry baby waits for no one. Figure out which is more important to you and make that your priority. By the way when I started nursing school last fall we had four pregnant women start school with us. We only have one left, the other three dropped out. No matter what your decision is good luck and have fun!
