care partner?

Hi I looked through the forums and noticed a couple of questions about this program but could not find that much description. I have been accepted into the program to begin in October and on paper everything looks great. I am really looking to use this as building step to advance into a more specialized field. Does anyone have any experience on the program and potential work life? I am really excited however a little nervous, I have been at my current non-health care job for 8 years so I understand I am basically starting over.
