Going Back to Nursing after 8 years

Hello all!, I am an LPN and I have been out of practice now for 8 years, and I am begining a refresher course to help me get back into it. After I graduated school and got my license, I took time away from nursing to help run my husband's business, so I didnt get any actual on the job practice after school, and it really terrifys me how much I feel I have forgotten from my training. I am coming back to nursing, I feel with half the knowledge I had 8 years ago. I have been brushing up on my med math and procedures and trying to study up on the things I feel unsure about, but I am so anxious about not being current on everything. I know alot of practice comes from hands on experience and I have a clinical portion as a part of my refresher, but sometimes I question myself if I have been out of this for too long. Has anyone else had a similar experience and returned to nursing, and how was it for you? Any advice would be helpful !
