Nursing and mistakes?

Am a nursing student that so far have one year left until graduation! However, even though I love nursing, there is one thing that makes me uneasy:errors. Of course, who likes making mistakes? So I am just asking as a future nurse. How do you prevent errors from occurring in your nursing field and any advice for this rookie?
