Nursing shifts

Are there any 8 hour nursing jobs?

I began nursing when my daughter was 2 years old. I'm a single parent. In the beginning it worked for me because I worked nights and my sister would keep her for me until my shift ended. It was a good transition. Well, that situtatio has changed. The last three years have been really tough, and I'm tired of working working nights. Seven years later, my daughter needs me even more, but I can't swing the 12 hour day shifts.

Please throw me some ideas.

What about home care? You can pretty much set your own schedule (at least the one I work for).
Home health, some OR's has 8hr or 10 hr shifts, or ER has a variety of shifts also.
