What jobs can you get with 2 semesters of nursing/clinical experience?Rating: (votes: 0) My question is, what type of jobs can I get with the 2 semesters of nursing experience I have? Do those 2 semesters not count for anything? Thanks in advance! P.S. - I live in CT Without a completed nursing program and a license, those semesters aren't going to count for anything towards a nursing position. However, you can always look for a job as a CNA or patient care technician/assistant/whatever jargon a facility uses for unlicensed assistive personnel. Comment: Unit Secretary, PCT, Nursing specialty tech (that's what they call the ER techs at my hospital and they have expanded duties), monitor tech (if you take an arrhythmia class)Comment: Home Health Aide. CNA. Various tech positions.Comment: Quote from BrightLight0My question is, what type of jobs can I get with the 2 semesters of nursing experience I have?Comment: Thank you for the answers everyone! They were very helpful.Comment: In some states, you might be able to take the LPN boards.Comment: Do you have any more information about this, or any resources you can point me to? I've heard something like this from some others as well, but I am not sure what steps I'd need to take.Comment: Quote from BrightLight0Do you have any more information about this, or any resources you can point me to? Check the BoN. This is not an option in many states but there are a few. Some only consider those who left an RN program in good standingComment: Based on what I heard from people in my ADN program (in MA), she may be able to take the LPN boards in New Hampshire. The OP should contact the NH BON.Comment: Quote from Not_A_Hat_PersonBased on what I heard from people in my ADN program (in MA), she may be able to take the LPN boards in New Hampshire.
