LPNs in Acute Care Settings

I live in New York City and I am currently looking for per diem work in an acute care setting. The problem is that I'm a LPN and I can't seem to find any hospitals that accept LPNs (even experienced LPNs) on Med/Surg units. Are there any i New York City or lower Westchester?
