I'm searching for a nursing article related to accountability, more specifically being a novice nurse experiencing personal problems that have interfered with the ability to be at work and be accountable to your patients.

You may have better luck researching on the issue of "role conflict" or "work-life" balance, because that is the situation you are describing.
