Considering a Job in Nursing

I am thinking of going into Nursing, and I have a few questions

Do you think nursing ever gets boring? Are you one your feet all day?

I really don't want a desk job, or a repetitive job where I do the same thing over and over again.

I was really considering going to college and doing pre med, and going off to med school to become an OBGYN, however, I feel it's too much time, and I want to be around my family, and have a family early rather than later

So, is nursing always new and exciting?
I learn something new just about every time I work (21 months into the profession), but it isn't always exciting. I am on my feet most of my shift. I go home beaten and sore, even after a good shift. If I were you I'd become a PA.
