What kind of interventions am I going to provide?Rating: (votes: 0) [FONT="Lucida Sans Unicode"]Ooh, Wenckebach! It's my favorite rhythm, but I have only seen it a few times in my career as a MedSurg nurse. It's fairly benign. And if there are no symptoms, I would just keep an eye out for syncope and whatnot.I'll take that over Type II any day! Comment:
If they are asymptomatic, not much, obtain v/s compare w/ baseline, notify md if new onset
Comment:
My ACLS review says.. treat the underlying cause (CAD, Dig tox, use of beta-adrenergic blockers, calcium channel blockers, quinidine, or procainamide as potential causes...) so, do a med review.watch for hypotension or sycopeif symptomatic bradycardia - transcutaneous pacer
Comment:
Fairly benign... it's the type II and 3rd degree you gotta look out for.
