NEW LPN Grad Jobs

Hello,

I am currently in school for my LPN. I am planning to enroll as soon as I graduate for my RN, and hopefully get my DNP in the future.
I know that there is a lot to learn and a long rode ahead of me, but I have been looking at LPN jobs in the Mississippi and Texas areas and everything I find wants at least 1-2 years of experience and then they are not paying but $13-16 per hour.
I worked as a File clerk in a Drug Rehab center before school and I was making $18 an hour. Is this the normal for pay for LPNs in those areas? Also what facilities hire new grads?
