Travel Case Management Nursing

Hi,

I am interested in travel case management opportunities, but I am a little confused about how it works. It is my understanding that case management nursing requires a little bit of familiarity with the practice and the community in which one works and knowledge of local resources. How is this feasible when a nurse is traveling to a community with which he or she may have little or no familiarity? Thanks.
