DNPs and practicing independently

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can find out if DNPs can practice independently in a certain state?
A google search could tell you all of them. AANP has a map that will tell you every state where its possible.

They would be the same states in which Master's-prepared NPs are able to practice independently. There's no different scope of practice or licensure for DNP grads vs. MSN grads.

I always defer practice questions to the person's state board of nursing.

FWIW DNP does not always equal NP, anyway.
