Aspiring nursing student!Rating: (votes: 0) You must become a licensed RN prior to becoming an advanced-practice nurse, such as an NP. Med-surg is a required rotation in nursing school, and the most common starting place for new grads in acute care. However, in my experience, PAs (Physician Assistants) are the ones who work with the surgeons while IN surgery, not NPs. Could there be? I suppose so, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. I suspect you're looking for a career track that is more PA, from what I can guess.I'm sure there will be others who can answer more of your questions. |
