Delaying School & Now can't Find a Job

So I was getting ready to go back to school, but it seems I have to put it on the back burner for now. It's not that I don't want to go to school, I just don't have any back up for my son.

My husband is gone for two weeks, my mom works, his mom is an hour away & works, my dad is an hour & a half away & works, my brother is an hour away & works, my husband's brother is 2 hours away & MIA, & my husband's sister is 2 hours away & works. So I pretty much raise my son on my own. I knew if I had to keep my son home from daycare I wouldn't get any studying done (I already tried).

He is about to turn 1 & is just an attention monster. If you aren't paying attention to him he is upset. So I had to change my plans & put off school for a couple years. It's not what I wanted but since I have no backup to daycare, I have to delay school.

Now that I am putting off school i want a part time job. That is proving really hard. There were, of course, a couple jobs when I wasn't looking. But now that I'm not, there aren't any. There was one job at the local jail. But but I talked to someone about it & it sounds terrible.

I'd have to work 7 days a week, be on call (which he said I could just answer most of the questions/concerns over the phone, yeah right!), the pay was low. So now I'm just kinda stuck.
