Fertility Nursing

Hi there!

I'm a new graduate BSN and I'm hoping someone can help me with information on nursing in the field of fertility medicine.

I was hoping I would get some kind of education on clinic type nursing while in school, but all of my experience has been in a hospital setting. I have a job lined up on a med/tele floor and I'm really excited to start with something that will solidify my education. But my passion is definitely with fertility medicine.

Is anyone out there a nurse in this setting? Advanced practice or RN? I'd like to know what the day to day schedule is like, and what certifications are needed and what I can do in the meantime to prepare myself for a position in this field. I have my BSN now, but would like to get a Masters or DNP in the near future.
