How to get back into nursing

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I completed a GNP two years ago as an RN. I then had to become a carer for my Mother who was very ill. In that time I completed a post grad certificate in nursing and other courses in wound care etc. I am having no luck finding anyone that will employ someone who has no recent experience and only one years GNP exp. I feel so lost and do not know what to do. Does anyone have any advice. Thanks
