What credentials can I get before BSN school graduation?

I will be graduating from a BSN program in 4 months, and I want to know if there's anything I can do in this time frame to be a more competitive new RN?
My dream job is working in the OR as a RNFA but I know that takes years of official experience (I have tons of unofficial experience because my mom is a surgical tech and I've shadowed her for about 4 years).
I was thinking I could get my ACLS, since I only have my BLS now. What else can I do to add credentials to my resume? What can I study for in 4 months, or a few days/weeks?
Hmm - you could do any sort of American Heart certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc). You could get phlebotomy certified & take a Basic EKG course. Some certifications may be limited to licensed nurses - such as IV certification. There may also be some continuing ed courses that would have a positive impact on potential employers... topics like multicultural aspects of nursing; reducing liability; risk management; effective communication; . . . Good luck!
