2014 grad

Hi - I'm currently mid-semester junior year finishing a BSN. I'm reading through threads from '09-'10 and seeing lots of new grads are having lots of problems finding jobs. So here's some questions I have
-Is it still as bad now as it was then?
-What areas in the U.S. are new grads having better luck?
-Should I look for local jobs when graduating or pursue jobs in more urban areas? (I'm in way rural NY)

Really, at this point, any advice/info is helpful. Luckily more than a year to worry about it. Still searching for a per diem aid/PCT in my area but no such luck as they're all CNA and the only certification courses they have don't end 'til I'm back at school. That's a whole other topic in itself though.
