Nursing certification benefits

Hi everyone, currently I'm an LPN looking for a way to boost my resume bad credentials while I am studying. Towards my .RN degree. I found a certification in local anesthesia in ct that I'm in interested in taking. Any LPNs have done this before? If so has it boosted your pay rate a bit? Where where are you using the cert? Any info would be helpful thank you.
many places do not have differential for certifications....even for RN's. The most I have seen is about .50 cents per hour. maybe a $300.00 bonus for the year.
