Nursing vs. Social Work (eeek!) HeLPP!

Hello, I am a bsw (bachelors of social student) going into my senior year. Originally, five years ago I wanted to become a nurse but was dis-encouraged. I am at a accredited SW program and am about to enter my field practicum. I would love to get my MSW, but feel as if NURSING is my calling because I enjoy the medical aspect of it. Are there any professionals with both a social work degree and nursing?

If I do decide to go back and receive a second bachelors...I want to pursue a career as a psychiatric nurse!

Help! Once again are there any professionals that hold both titles bsw and rn??
Medical social work - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaYou could get a MSW and become a Medical Social Worker.
Comment:
I was a social worker for 5 years before going back to get my nursing degree. I love social work and worked with child protection as a foster care worker(and some investigations). I LOVED it, but I love nursing more. And the pay for nursing is better.

I was a social worker and did medical case management. Look into hospitals, counties, the VA, etc... You're too close to graduating right now to change things up. I was hired as a new grad nurse because of my case management background. Build up some experience and then use it to your advantage if you decide to go back for nursing

Finish up you bsw.enoll in a msw program. It will only take you one year because of you have a bsw. And then go to nursing school if you still have that urge. No need to stop now ur almost finish
