respiratory therapist to nursing

K i am a respiratory therapist looking to become a nurse. I do not want to do excelsior because of the fact georgia does not accepts the school to get my state license. looking for somthing similar to excelsior that will allow me to work in georgia.
Have you considered looking at the schools in your area? That will likely be the best way to go.

I've never seen a school that has a bridge from RT to RN. That doesn't mean they don't exist, but they're extremely rare if they do (or perhaps not well-regarded or accredited, like Excelsior).
Perhaps it's not an acceptable bridge pathway in your state? Not all state BoNs feel that RRT to RN is an appropriate bridge.
I have also never seen a RT to RN bridge. Thinking you are going to have to start over as a RT is very different from an RN. You may not have to do any prereqs but it is not like a LPN who wants to become a RN. A LPN already has the foundation work in place and doesn't have to do the first couple of semesters of work. You would have to complete things like Nursing fundamentals and foundations. That is why no bridge programs exist.
In my area the only bridge programs are for NREMT-P/paramedic (must be currently working in a paid role as a medic) or LPN (presently working in a clinical setting) to RN. I know some states that accept LPN to RN ( and sometimes medic to RN) from Excelsior will not accept RRT to RN candidates. GA, MD and IL come to mind.
