Other healthcare alternatives for failed Nursing student?

I am a former nursing student who failed out of nursing school over .02%. I needed an average of 56.25, and I got 56.23. Anyway, I still want to be a nurse but my options are limited now. If I had not failed that course I would have had only a year left to graduate. I also worry that I was singled out due to my anxious personality. Can anyone suggest an alternative career in medicine that I could potentially achieve with my current credits? I still want to work in healthcare, but I do not want to start over my education completely. Any advice is appreciated.

Transfer to another school? It might take longer but it would be worth it, right?
Is it not possible for you to repeat the class at your current program? I ask because a few people in my program, and in the class before mine, repeated a semester of nursing classes (if you failed one class you had to repeat all the classes for that semester), and went on to graduate and work as nurses. It is not unheard of for nursing students to repeat classes, and there is no shame in doing so. I do not believe that nursing classes transfer easily to other majors. If you are able to stick it out and finish, even if you have to transfer to another nursing program, you will at least have a degree, and will have other options at that point.
