Quit my job to be home with my daughter..looking for nursing jobs I can do from home.

1 I have been a pediatric nurse for 4 years, quit my job to be home with my 17 month old, but am going through serious withdrawal. I would love to do something from home since I don't have good childcare options. I would love to find a job I could do at home, part-time. I have my BSN and was looking at teaching jobs at online universities like University of Phoenix. However, I think you need to have your Masters to teach. If anyone knows of a good option or suggestion for a good nursing job at home, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
I am an RN and I work from home doing case management. I am at my second employer and on my 3rd year of working from home. However.....you are still working, answering calls, being on the computer...so I don't think you can watch a child at the same time. If they are older then it's good, like if you just have to make them lunch or something and they can basically hang around by themself. I do have to go out and do home visits several days a month also. I did start part time, and only had like 7 clients to deal with...so yes if I had a little kid then I could probably have done that ok, since I was the one to set when I worked.Look into case management jobs that say telecommuter or home office based.

None of the hospitals where you could work offer a day care onsite?
