I keep getting denied for graduate nursing positions. ***!Rating: (votes: 0) ![]() It means you are going up against 500 other GNs plus 250 inhouse GN employees. Get in line with the rest of them buddy. Comment:
It doesn't mean anything... it's just boiler-plate lingo to tell you that, of the hundreds of applicants, they found others that they wanted more.Possible reasons:1) Just luck of the draw... they don't go through all the apps - just enough to get enough people to interview. Nursing grads are a dime-a-dozen and there's little to distinguish them.2) Your GPA is not as high as they want... or it's too high (go figure, but some people think higher grades are a negative)3) You didn't graduate from their "preferred" program4) Your app wasn't tagged by having a contact on the inside5) You're older - or younger - than they want to hire.and on and on and on.The verbage in their copy means nothing in particular beyond, "We're not interested."

This is just a generic computer generated response.Don't take it personally.

It sucks, I know how you feel. Are you only applying to New Grad positions? I got hired recently, and I applied to a regular RN position. Check those out and if they don't require experience, then apply. Good Luck!

Don't take it personally its just a generic response from the HR system and it doesn't reflect on your education or experience. Hang in there something will turn up.

It's just a polite way of saying you weren't the most impressive or desirable candidate and you didn't get the job. Don't read too much into it.
