Question- Nursing license 'Active (Restricted)'

Rating:
(votes: 0)

What does it mean if someone's Nursing license is 'active (restricted)' and it says 'probation with permanent restrictions.' Are they able to administer medication? What would you have to do to have this type of restriction? This is in the state of Ohio.
The restrictions can vary from person to person. You can look up the actions taken against someone's license on the BON's website, though... at least you can in PA.

Comment:
I'm in Ohio, and restrictions can vary. I would think that if you are a potential empoyer, you should have access to the reason for restriction, I would check with the BON.

Comment:
It sounds like it might just be you being nosy and this may be none of your business, but in any even if you are THAT nosy you can request a public document of that person sent to you for around twenty bucks. Call the board.
