I recently heard about forensic nursing. Traditional bedside nursing is definitely not my niche and so I am trying to find out more about it (forensic nursing). From the research I have done I have been able to find out that a forensic nurse sometimes works for a police department. It's been hard to find solid credible information on this area of nursing. Does anyone reading this thread have experience as a forensic nurse? If so, what is it like? Has anyone heard of the Kaplan certificate course for Forensic nursing? I spoke with them and had a rather lengthy conversation, although I'm not convinced they offer a good program. Any input would be greatly appreciated! :-)
