Manager 2 hours LateRating: (votes: 0) It was compounded further by the fact that I had a nurse come in and I was unprepared for all the questions she had. This is not the shift I usually work so I'm just staring at her like an idiot without any answers. Poor nurse probably thinks I'm brainless. I have no idea what to do now and I'm so sick of being nice to people who just walk all over me. It's even more awkward since she's my best friend. What kind of manager just comes in two hours late? Ug I need some advice on how to handle this or should I just let it go?:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryf ire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryf ire:angryfire Ugh...this kind of friendship is doomed, or the working relationship is doomed, or both. What did you say to her when she showed up late? Because it's probably too late now to back track, but you might have a talk with her since she's your best friend and let her know how that you felt taken advantage of and you're not likely to do her any more favors because of this.Or tell her that you care too much about the relationship to ruin it by doing professional favors and you want to keep your working relationship and friendship separate and for her to please not ask you any more personal favors. The manager should do like the rest of us, schedule hair appointments on our time off. Comment: It seems to me that the question isn't what kind of manager would do this, but what kind of friend would do it.
