Some Career Advice needed. Please helpGood Afternoon Everyone,I just became a LPN this past September and I'm already looking to my future. I am working in a LTC part time night shift job but I'm wondering if there is something else for me. I am considering getting my B.S in Healthcar Trying to find my "niche" School Nurse or Case ManagementI've been licensed now for about a year and a half. I've been blessed with the opportunity to TRY a few different specialties. I've done psych, school nursing, public health, and case management. I will be graduating in December and should be able to sit for the NCLEX in January. I am moving to CA and am wondering if anyone knows whether I would be better off taking the NCLEX in my home state and then applying for a CA license by endoacute care experience?What would be considered acute care experience.Obviously hospitals. What about doctors office? Dialysis? Anything else considered acute care? Many places want previous acute care experience so what would be included?
