go to school in a different state

Say if you got your BSN in one of the compact states, but want to pursue DNP in a non-compact state. How does that work? Do you have to get licensed in that state before youo can apply to grad school? Thanks!
Doesn't matter where you earned a BSN as long as it was from an accredited institution. That being said pretty much any advanced practice program requires that you be licensed as an RN in the state where you will be attending classes. Exception being the online schools like University of Phoenix.

Comment:
so how does that work? Pay a fee and get licensed in that state you want to get DNP at? or do you have to take an exam?
